This is a beautiful, mid-century California Pottery divided candy/nut dish. It is in the shape of two leaves curved around the center brass handle. It is a pretty, bright spring green color. It has a wonderful three-dimensional texture with the veining of the leaves. It is very organic in shape and design. It is marked "Made in USA" and "No. 9". It measures 10" long x 6" wide x 1.5" deep. It is 3.5" tall to the top of the ring handle. It is in very good, vintage condition. There are a few small fleabite chips along the edges. I don't believe they detract greatly from the piece and still feel it is simply gorgeous. The brass handle is tarnished and there is some rusting where it meets the pottery. The ring does not stand up straight and tends to flop over some. Not sure if that can be tightened in some way. Please see photos for specifics on the condition of this mid-century serving bowl.
