    VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN CALIFORNIA ART POTTERY ELEPHANT FIGURINE SCULPTURE BY FREEMAN MCFARLIN
    The featured item represents a large art pottery elephant statue by Freeman
    McFarlin
    of California. The piece measures approximately 10 3/4" from the floor to the tallest points and 14 1/2" at the longest points. It
    is signed
    on the bottom of the feet with "Anthony, 193 c USA".
    The elephant has a
    mid century
    modern design and
    is finished
    in grey-greenish glaze and white trunks and toes. The sides and the eye areas featured textured finish. According to my research, this specific figurine by Freeman
    McFarlin
    does not come around very often in that size.
    The item comes in overall good condition for its age with no major damages found but normal vintage wear like some
    scuffs
    ,marks and scratches here and there.
